The landscape is a brutal expanse of shifting glaciers and jagged mountain peaks, creating a sharp, frozen wasteland where survival is nearly impossible for the unprepared. The island's atmosphere is heavy with the presence of dark elemental creatures that thrive in the sub-zero temperatures, haunting the ice-slicked valleys and wind-blasted crags that dominate the territory.
The influence of this frozen realm extends far beyond its shores; Glaszar’s dark, icy winds blow relentlessly southward, causing the Kingdom of Whitemist to endure unnaturally long, punishing winters. These gales cause the seas between the mainland and the island to churn with sharp, lethal icebergs, making any maritime approach a treacherous gamble. Dominating the frozen skyline is The Iceway, the palace of the island's ruler, which stands as a monumental, gleaming shard of pure ice, radiating a malevolent chill that can be felt for miles.
Beneath the surface of this lightless waste lies a deep, sprawling network of tunnels said to hide the remnants of the island’s ancient inhabitants.
